Our Story

Les Soins du Barbu is an artisanal company founded by Jonathan and Julie, a couple from Quebec's South Shore driven by the desire to offer men natural, simple, and authentic care products.

It all started with an artisan soap forgotten in the shower. One try, then two, then three… and one clear realization: a handmade product provides incomparable well-being.

From this discovery, a mission was born: to create men's care products that respect the skin, the beard, and the environment.

Jonathan — The Inspiration Behind the Beard

Originally from Quebec City and now settled in Lévis, Jonathan is a former truck driver who became an entrepreneur and father of two. His beard, his daily life, and his real needs as an active man inspired the first formulations.

He quickly noticed a glaring lack: very few artisanal, natural, and transparent products for men.

Julie — The Passionate Creator

A horticulturist by training and an entrepreneur at heart, Julie brings her love for simple ingredients, her ecological sensitivity, and her attention to detail to the brand.

She wants to understand what she puts on her skin. She wants natural, effective, and honest products. She wants to create better.
